After a century of compulsory politically-controlled education as our overwhelmingly dominant model, unbiased analysis is extremely challenging. Newcomers to the concept are exhibiting normal human behavior by dismissing challenges out-of-hand. Opening minds to critical thinking regarding government-dominated schools takes many suggestions, many ideas, many proponents and much incisive, solid documentation.
Fortunately it is out there. Unfortunately those who need to be exposed to it rarely are.
As this is one of the most important topics of our time, I am building here another window into education, as opposed to indoctrination and training. I anticipate I will link to and refer to these pages from other essays. I expect to attach copies of others’ work to protect against disappearance of well written reference work, but I will always insert links to the originals to give credit where due AND to open up to the reader that avenue for further research.
