I am posting here on the ugly side of the protected class. You might notice that while Epstein and Maxwell were convicted of both crimes, as far as the courts, and enforcers are concerned, THERE WERE NO CUSTOMERS. THIS, I believe, defines the primary divide between Trump supporters and the rest of the swamp creatures. As far as I can tell from his and their actions, there is not much else in the way of differentiation, but that is obviously enough to have them pull out all the stops in attacking. I share here some news headlines and bits on the subject: Pope Francis has declared that child rapists are ‘God’s chosen people’ and has urged Christians to treat […]

I recently shared a Dave Frishberg song I really like. Here is another gem, “My Attorney Bernie”. https://www.idaholiberty.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/My-Attorney-Bernie-Vocal.mp3 Recent events are conspiring to place us in their world, that is, the legal morass designed to transfer wealth from those who deserve it to the less deserving. Suffice to say I do not like it. Dave’s little ditty does a good job describing the situation. My little group of loyal readers have undoubtedly noticed a shortfall in my postings. Meanwhile, our homestead is a whole lot better prepared for winter than it was a couple months ago. Also unaffected by my absence, the trajectory of cultural, economic and political decline remains as solidly negative as it has been at anytime in […]

An interesting effect of the social distancing fad is the reaction in what they like to call “The criminal justice system”. Prison and jail populations are being reduced coast to coast by various means. Courts are on holiday. Enforcers are advised to skip interacting with the public over burned out taillights and silly harassments they used to delight in. Is this the Libertarian dream … the end of victimless crimes? Victimless Crime Constitutes 86% of the Federal Prison Population Did cannabis prohibition just end? Is Constitutional Carry now the law of the land? Locally, Ravalli County has nearly eliminated courts, arrests and incarceration. Benjamin Franklin stated it as, “it is better [one hundred] guilty Persons should escape than that […]

Arcesilaus, Greek philosopher and student of Plato on power and personal sovereignty There’s no two ways about it: The United States of America and its 50 state governments love putting people in prison. The U.S. has both the highest number of prisoners and […]
By Ted Dunlap, on February 20th, 2019 Bonkers title, I know. Bear with me a moment. Popular professional behaviorists and physiologists figure the male brain to be fully developed by the time they reach 25 or 30 years old; Females at 15 to 16 years old. That fits with the real world I have experienced in near 70 years. Can I say, “Lots of examples?” I was a late developer, probably leaning more towards the 30 in physical brain development, but nearly double that before I slowed down enough to apply my mental capacities to actually contemplating my world. At 20, a 21-year-old woman figured I was her ticket to the little cottage with white picket fence and a handful of children. I was an easy target. […]
By Ted Dunlap, on December 17th, 2018 Last week investigations of the Clinton Foundation and the duo themselves were all over the Internet. Sources I have come to trust depict a crime spree coming apart. Protection has disappeared and ugly truths are coming out… with actual justice for high crimes looming large. Rather obviously, you would not have seen any of this had the 2016 presidential election gone the other way. Imagine this crime spree growing exponentially rather than being terminated. You are not going to see any of this on lamestream media until the bitter end, but I am reasonably confident that bitter end is coming soon. Meanwhile, I will show you what mainstream media coverage should look like with the story I copied below… and […]
By Ted Dunlap, on June 8th, 2018 I am putting together a handful of news stories that do not warrant their own page here. First is an interesting story of major predators becoming prey. Making it into the financial top 1% is typically a measure of one’s ruthlessness more than any other single attribute. Genius is rarely involved. The Theranos scheme clearly demonstrates that. Attending an institution like Stanford University is not an option for the lower classes like middle and below. The Elizabeth Holmes story starts with her dropping out of her second year there. While the one-percenters might otherwise respect and embrace her crafty immorality, it probably doesn’t go well that she preyed on them rather than the lower 99%-ers. But gol-dang she put on […]
By Ted Dunlap, on December 6th, 2017 . I’m just a sittin’ an’a rockin’ … watching the show. There isn’t a decision here. Can some people order others around? In a free society, that is. The Supreme Court appeared divided down the middle Tuesday over a Colorado baker’s refusal to design a wedding cake for a same-sex couple, the latest test in the continuing legal battle between gay rights and religious expression. Do people have a right to do or not do anything? Are the black-robed senior citizens competent or not? Are they relevant to the issue? Can any words they utter make wrong be right? Could somebody walk into my bakery and successfully get me to decorate a cake with hatred? Nope. Could nine senile […]
By Ted Dunlap, on September 24th, 2015 The USofA Supreme Court has ruled that concealed weapon carry licenses in any one state are valid in every other state AND that all states must issue them like the good states do. This is really good news as this country has been a hodge-podge of Luddite legislation regarding self-defense tools. While they didn’t use those words exactly, they did say essentially the same thing. Their ruling, for those who attribute supreme super powers to such things, actually says a marriage license in one state is valid in another – like state issued driver’s licenses and such. Which, obviously, would include CCWs. Of course in the feely-huggy socialist people’s paradise, warm acceptance of gay rights is just about the opposite […]
By compatriot, on September 4th, 2015 EDITORIAL The Jury as Liberty’s Shield By Shane Smith – September 04, 2015 It’s no secret that government absolutely loathes juries. They are an obstacle, an encumbrance to greater power, and government sidesteps the jury trial any chance it gets. But a jury trial is our right as American citizens, for now, and government has to deal with it in most instances. So government settles for the next best thing: packing the jury box with the most gullible saps our society has on offer and hoping the State’s slick lawyers and judges can cajole the jurors into delivering the desired verdict. The government’s beau ideal of a juror is a sap, a sheep, a serf who knows nothing of […]
By Ted Dunlap, on February 28th, 2015 While the information below is still a solid, real part of true history, the links that were included and referenced in it have been removed from the World Wide Web, as far as I can tell. You can try them. They didn’t work from my computer. The cold-case posse charged by Arizona’s Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio investigation found the same things and a lot more. Do a web search on that phrase. There is A TON of supporting evidence. On to the four questions … 1. Back in 1961 people of color were called ‘Negroes’. So how can the Obama ‘birth certificate’ state he is African-American” when the term wasn’t even used at that time? 2. The birth certificate […]
By Ted Dunlap, on November 14th, 2014 Casinos are big business, very lucrative and with little investment in things like manufacturing capability or raw materials. Even the little pocket casinos that litter the main roads make big money from a small handful of customers. That’s all okay. With freedom comes responsibility. Each of us is at liberty to utilize or discard our resources any way we want. We trade things we value more for things we value less. Lack of choice is for children who hopefully grow into taking full responsibility for their lives, liberties and properties. We call that “growing up”. In this same free world, the casinos are at liberty to attract, entice, reward and get money from their clientèle in whatever way they feel […]
