The superiority of the hangman’s noose

In this video I explain how to make one and why they are much better for straightening out your communities than occasional snipers.

I have no idea why a childhood lesson, used not once since, has stuck with me for 60 years, but it has.

Today I drag my learning of that special knot out of the dusty, dank portions of my brain to pass it on.

This skill has applicability for communities who want to recapture honor, integrity, caring and other niceties for their families, friends and neighbors.

Those annoying kids from primary and secondary schools who dedicated themselves to acquiring titles and badges of dominance grew up to do the same darn things on a much more serious level.

As Thomas Jefferson famously said, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

The tyrants are not self-regulating. They have no internal compasses or capacity for restraint. That has to come to them from the hands of those they would oppress. That is where this special “Boy-Scout-knot” comes in.

As I mention in the video, an occasional sniper can be handy, but a much stronger message arrives when the community pulls together to string up their oppressors.
