By Ted Dunlap, on November 22nd, 2012 Idaho legislative geniuses recently joined those of many other states to ban texting while driving. It’s a perfect example of government applying simplistic solutions to complex problems. Problem: too many drivers are thinking about something else while driving. Solution: make a law against texting while driving. Result: more crashes like this one that killed a 6-month-old-boy and changed many lives forever… or this recent one in Meridian. […]
By Ted Dunlap, on November 20th, 2012 There are two fundamental schools of economic thought. By Ted Dunlap, on November 1st, 2012 I have long been talking up the use of silver for storing your savings, that is once you have as much food and emergency supplies as you can imagine storing and needing. The oft-used phrase “beans, bullets and bullion” IS in priority order. I often am asked, “Why silver?” (rather than gold or something else). This 4-minute video does an excellent job of explaining it: silver VS currency
