I haven’t been to the Lincoln Memorial since I was stationed at Fort Lee Virginia a couple of lifetimes ago. I didn’t remember it looking like this, but I’m really impressed that Lincoln had a good side heretofore unknown to me.
Okay, I wasn’t completely fooled by the nifty Photoshop work someone did, but I do like it. The fictional good side of Abe shown here may well be far and away his best side, though I recently ran across a blurb that may move his memory up many notches in my view. This video and attached notes show another good side that I had missed.
This side deserves a more thorough look, but not today. I leave that to you for now. Just don’t forget The Real Lincoln and Lincoln Unmasked when you are making the Lincoln portrait in you head.
